Starting college is an important milestone, and preparation is key. That’s why we’ve created the New Student Checklist—a step-by-step guide to help you navigate your transition into life at CSU Pueblo and to start strong.
Here’s how to make the most of your New Student Checklist:
- Items marked as “Things you must do” are essential for all new students and must be completed by the deadlines provided.
- Items marked as “Things we recommend you do” include recommended actions based on your unique interests, background, or goals.
- Each item includes helpful links and contact information for campus offices that can provide more details or assistance.

ONCE YOU CONFIRM INTENT TO ENROLL
After you confirm your intent to enroll at CSU Pueblo, all students must…
- Complete the Academic Survey
- Activate your NetID
- Enroll in Duo
- Activate your CSU Pueblo email
- Submit immunization records to Student Health Services.
- Reserve your Thunderwolf Orientation session date
- Submit your final transcripts, AP, IB, and/or transfer credits
- Meet your Academic Advisor
- Review the Student Conduct Code
- Obtain your CSU Pueblo Student ID Card
After you confirm your intent to enroll at CSU Pueblo, things we recommend you do
- Review and update your student record on PAWS
- Establish disability accommodation support if needed
- Contact the PLA office to see if you can earn credit for your experience
- Complete the University Housing application
- Purchase course materials
- Submit Optional Forms
- Download Pack Protect App
- Learn about meal plans and dining on campus
